Cat 5e can handle data transfer at 1000 Mbps, is suitable for Gigabit Ethernet, and experiences much lower levels of near-end crosstalk (NEXT) than Cat 5.
Cat5 and Cat5e cables look the same, but Cat5e cable is manufactured with a higher standard to allow for higher data transfer rates. The most common type cable used in a network is Cat5e. Cat5e cable was formally defined in 2001 in the EIA/TIA-568B standard, which no longer recognizes the original Cat5.

You can have up to 100 meters Cat6 cable in 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, and 1000Bast-T application in the horizontal cabling run. This 100 meters includes up to 90 meters of solid cat6 cable between patch panels and work area outlet, and up to 10 meters of stranded Cat6 patch cables from work area outlet to the computer or server.
For 10GBase-T Ethernet applications, you can have up to 55 meters Cat6 cable in the horizontal run.

There are some options to help your factory water heater improve heating recovery time. You can install what's called a hot rod, which is a electric heating element that replaces the anode rod in your water heater. This rod uses 400 watts of AC power to heat the element and assays the gas portion of the heater with recovery. This is a certain viable option for extending your hot water supply time but some water heater manufacturers frown on their usage, stating that it may void the warranty because the lightning rod no longer provides the protection protection the standard anode rod does. You still will not get the hot shower of your dreams with this option though.
Here is where the tankless water heater comes in to play. There are two types of tankless water heaters: electric and gas-fired. The first kind works similar to the hot rod in that electric heating element heats the water. But that is where their similarities end. Rather than fill up a tank full of water and then heat it, the electric tankless heater senses water flowing through it, activates the electric heating circuit, and the water is heated instantly. It is 100% automated. As soon you turn off the water flow, the heater turns off. Water temperature is regulated with water pressure. Less water pressure means more heat, and more water pressure equals less heat.
The gas-fired type works very much the same as the electric heater in terms of sensing water flow and instantly heating it. But in this case, a propane burner heats the water. And there are no large electrical power demands needed as with the electric heater. Both can deliver a steady flow of hot water almost indefinitely, but the gas-fired type will be able to keep up with demand better, and is more easily adapted within a typical RV environment.
The easiest way to mod your RV with a tankless water heater and get that sensational endless shower is to use an inline device that replays the shower head. This type of heater uses a powerful electric heating element to instantly heat the incoming water just before it exits the shower head. It can increase water temperature by as much as 50F at a one gallon per minute flow rate. This should be sufficient to supplement the factory water heater so while it's recovering, you are still getting reasonably hot water. The only con is that the unit consumes a lot of current, upwards of 20+ amps. You will need to dedicate a circuit breaker and receptacle for this unit should you decide to go this route.
If you're boondocking, or otherwise camping without hookups, then consider doing this with a custom installed gas-fired tankless water heater. These units do an excellent job at providing instant and sustained hot water, and can be used to supplement or completely replace the standard RV water heater. There are a couple of very important things to consider before doing the mod though. The first is the venting requirements. Like your RVs heater, the tankless heater emits CO2 when the burner is on, and the CO2 needs to be vented outside the RV. Three inch tubing is a minimum and should be exhausted through the roof or side wall with the appropriate tubing and vent cap.
You need to also consider where the unit is mounted. The area should be free from anything that could come in to contact with the unit. Also, the unit should have some ventilation or fresh air supply. This is not critical but the burner does need oxygen to work. Most standard RV cabinet doors do not seal very well to begin with so there should be enough air supply to provide proper performance when the unit is mounted in areas like this. In any case, follow the manufacturer's recommended installation procedures if you are at all unsure. This includes connecting the gas and water supply, and any electrical requirements necessary to power the unit's circuit board.
Finally, and of course the most expensive of all options, is to completely replace the factory water heater with a drop in replacement tankless heater specifically made for RVs, the RV500. This is by far the easiest way to have endless hot water. Replacing the standard water heater with the RV500 is surprisingly simple. Start by turning off the propane and draining your water heater. Remove the gas supply line and water lines. And disconnect any electrical wiring. Unscrew the fastening screws on the outside frame of the heater and the unit should slide right out.
To install the RV500, reverse the steps used to remove the factory water heater. Chances are the gas supply pipe and the water inlet and outlet tubing will not require any configurations and will attach directly. The heater requires a 12-volt power supply in order for the circuit board to function and other control the unit. It's very low current so you should be able to tap in to most any 12-volt source nearby. Once installed, you just have to turn on any hot water faucet and the unit will automatically turn on. Turning off the hot water faucet in turn shuts off the heater. It's quiet and will keep up with any demand. Now you can take your time showering but you might have to mod your RV with larger holding tanks!

Ultrasound therapy is a popular method of treatment for chiropractors, physical therapists, and other medical care providers. It involves transferring sound waves with frequencies greater than the human sound spectrum (above 20 kilohertz) into a patient. The energy that is transferred with the sound waves can be used to treat focused, isolated areas of tissue to help with relieving pain in affected areas of the body and to speed the recovery process for injured muscle or other tissues.
When to Use Ultrasound
Therapeutic ultrasound can be used to create a deep heat effect for relief of pain, muscle spasms and in cases where joints have been tightened over a prolonged period of time – joint contracture – as in cases such as spastic cerebral palsy or in work-induced environments.
Some of the most common medical problems that warrant the use of ultrasound therapy are adhesive capsulitis (“frozen shoulder”, or pain and stiffness in the shoulder caused by inflammation), calcific bursitis (the calcification of bursa sacs due to prolonged inflammation, usually in the shoulder), inflammation of the skeletal muscles (myositis), and soft tissue injuries from sports or other causes. Ultrasound therapy is also used to treat tendons that have been shortened from untreated scar tissue or past injuries. Ultrasound can be used to overcome capsular tightness or scarring, which often result from surgeries such as breast augmentation.
There are many situations for which the typical ultrasound therapy treatment using equipment such as the Intelect Legend or TranSport series from Chattanooga is not recommended. Ultrasound should not be used to treat local pain without the patient first receiving a thorough diagnosis, and the cause of the pain has been confidently determined. It should not be used when there are cancerous lesions on or near area to be treated. If a patient shows symptoms of carrying serious infectious diseases or in cases where the patient should be avoiding excess heat or fevers, it is not advised to use therapeutic ultrasound.
Other conditions governing the use of ultrasound therapy include avoiding particular parts of the body that may be susceptible to negative side effects from the treatment. It should not be used in areas where bones are growing. If a patient uses a pacemaker, it is not recommended to use this kind of treatment in the thoracic part of the body, as the pacemaker may be affected in those cases. Ultrasound devices should not be used where a fracture is healing, it should not be applied close to a patient’s eyes, and it should not be used over the uterus region of a pregnant woman. Therapists should be careful not to use ultrasound in patients who suffer from vascular disease and who have ischemic tissue. In this case, cells could die because of the blood supply’s inability to keep pace with the increased metabolic demand from tissues affected by the treatment.
Other situations that prohibit the use of ultrasound therapy include the spine area of patients who have had spinal surgeries such as Laminectomy, anywhere on a patient where anesthetics are being used, or any kind of disposition to bleeding excessively.
Competent medical professionals should be well-informed of when ultrasound therapy should be used, and under what circumstances it should be avoided.

Why isn’t there more emphasis on improving energy efficiency? The primary reason is a glut of low cost, underpriced fossil fuel. As long as such energy is artificially cheap because its harmful environmental costs are not included in its market prices, people are more likely to waste it and not make investment in improving energy efficiency.
Another cause is the use of huge government subsidies and tax breaks to promote the use of energy wasting power plants, motor vehicles, and buildings and few economic incentives for consumers to invest in improving energy efficiency even if it saves them money.

Renewable energy is energy that is obtained from natural sources – such as the sun and wind – and can be replenished or renewed naturally. Since renewable energy can usually be obtained without doing significant harm to the environment, people have been developing many ways to utilize it efficiently. While the use of renewable energy is not a recent phenomenon, investment in these technologies has grown in recent years as a response to the rising prices of fossil fuel and the effects of global climate change. Here are the five primary types of renewable energy sources:
• Wind energy – Strong winds are capable of running wind turbines which are used in some areas to produce electricity. Normally these can be seen along shorelines, especially in areas where the wind is especially strong. Wind energy is a clean energy that can be utilized as long as the wind continues to blow.
• Water energy – Strong currents of water are also capable of producing electric power. Areas where there are big waterfalls are at an advantage since waterfalls currents are extremely strong and can help supply a portion of a city's electrical needs. Water energy is divided into different forms. These are: ocean energy, hydroelectric energy, kinetic energy from damless hydro, and hydroelectric power from micro-hydro systems.
• Solar energy – Solar energy is obtained from sunlight. This technology relates on solar panels that collect sunlight and turn it into voltage which is then stored in a battery for future use. A group of solar panels is called a photovoltaic array and many homeowners are now installing their own arrays at home to supplement or satisfy their energy needs. Solar energy can also be used to power individual items, such as lights and portable generators.
• Biomass energy – This energy is derived from industrial factories that process wood and agricultural products. It is a natural product from the synthesis of trees and other plants. While carbon dioxide emissions are produced through biomass, the amount is lower than that from the burning of fossil fuels. In addition, biomass cuts back on the need to produce new landfills as significant amounts of waste are consumed in the biomass process.
• Geothermal energy – Geothermal is obtained from deep in the Earth's crust. Radioactive particles inside the Earth are constantly decaying, producing an energy that we can exploit for our own usage. While it's not always easy to utilize this form of energy, once a geothermal power station is up and running it provides a source of clean, reliable energy with minimal effects to the environment.
Although not all of these technologies have been utilized to their full potential yet, it is expected that investment in alternative energy sources will continue to increase in the coming years. It is likely a combination of these technologies that will help lead us to a cleaner energy future.
